Learn about Cape Coral's' popular activities and culture.
Although the arguably most famous beach in the town is called Yacht Club, don't be alarmed by the name-it's not private, and even if for some reason you don't like it, there are plenty of others to choose from thanks to Cape Coral's ideal location on the coast. The biggest advantage of Cape Coral perhaps though is that while there is plenty to do within the town, it's just a short drive to the large city of Fort Myers for anything else you may want.

It's no surprise that seafood fans should find themselves at home in Cape Coral. The wide variety of fresh seafood offerings can be found anywhere from casual clam bars, to upscale fine dining establishments. The city also has many waterfront restaurants to ensure that your meal is accompanied by a perfect vista.
One of the city's most notable events is the Cape Coral Festival of the Arts. Held in January each year, around 300 artists and craftspeople displaying their goods draw close to 100,000 visitors. Other attractions such as the Cape Coral Farmers Market or the Cape Coral Historical Museum are popular with locals and visitors as well.
